The MFC Annual General Meeting was held last night... a big thanks to those members who attended.

Our 2025 committee was appointed and will be led by our new president, Rachael Barlow. Rachael was MFC vice president in 2024, has a great background in community sport and will be a huge asset to the club in her new role. Congratulations and thanks to Rachael for taking on this role as the club moves into our centenary year in 2025.

After five years as president, Scott Davidson has stepped aside to hand the baton on to Rachael. While being the head of a community club is never easy, it’s fair to say that in his time as president, Scott has had more curveballs to deal with than most. His five-year term included a season lost to COVID, another season heavily impacted by COVID, the rebuild of our facilities at Mulgrave Reserve - which saw us temporarily relocate for another entire season - and plenty more.

It was a difficult period that could very well fracture a club. Due in no small part to Scott’s leadership and stewardship, Mulgrave not only survived but thrived over the past five years. His work in transforming and progressing the club over this period, despite many obstacles, sees MFC in a very strong position both off and on the field.

Please join us in thanking Scott for his service as president - we are all indebted to him for his efforts.

Thankfully for us Scott is not going anywhere and will remain on the committee, working closely with our sponsors and partners in 2025.
