Peter Greenstreet: Life Member

It’s set to be a huge year off the field and we’re rapt to share an early major announcement with the news that Peter Greenstreet has been inducted as the 107th life member of Mulgrave Football Club.
Life membership is our highest individual recognition, reserved for those who serve the club with distinction over an extended period of time. Peter has done that as a player, coach and volunteer since arriving at the club in 2010.
Peter played for the club in 2010 and 2011, becoming a senior premiership player in his first season. He returned to the club as senior coach in 2016-17. Finally, he has served as a committee member and one of the driving forces behind our coterie group, the Mully Grubs, since its inception in 2020. The Mully Grubs have brought a tremendous amount to the footy club through their efforts in fundraising, engaging past players and driving support for the club.
Organising a group like the Mully Grubs and its various events is no small effort, and we’re indebted to Peter and his fellow committee members for their work in pulling things together each and every year. The Annual Golf Day has absolutely thrived under their watch, becoming an enormous day on the calendar, so it was fitting that we took the opportunity to present Greeny with his life membership at Friday’s event.
Peter is the type of person that a football club is very, very lucky to have – not just through his presence, but his willingness to put his hand up and work on making the club a better place.
Thanks so much for all your efforts mate.
Please join us in congratulating Greeny on his life membership, and thanking him for his ongoing work for our club.
